We are excited to introduce Dr. Wilson, the newest member of our Post Falls Orthodontics family! At 15 years old, after completing his own braces treatment, Dr. Wilson set a goal to become an orthodontist himself, so that he could help others experience the confidence and self-esteem that a bright smile brings. Fast-forward a few years and he now has a dental degree from the same university as Dr. Curtis and Dr. Wilson – the University of Utah School of Dentistry – where he graduated at the top of his class, and a Masters of Science in Dentistry degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. !

Your first visit to our office is the very beginning of your orthodontic journey, and we’re just as excited as you!
We will perform a thorough examination of your teeth, mouth, and gums. We then take complimentary x-rays and images of your teeth that lets us see what’s going on. This information helps us design your customized treatment plan.
2. Transparent Pricing
During your free consult, you will meet with one of our Treatment Coordinators to review pricing.
At Post Falls Orthodontics, we offer affordable orthodontic treatment in North Idaho. For more than 75% of our patients, braces are a flat fee as low as $3,995. For complex braces cases, where a special orthodontic appliance or extra services are needed, our fee is $5,495. There are no hidden fees to achieve your beautiful smile!
3. Simple Financing
Our friendly Treatment Coordinators will also make sure you understand your financing options and insurance benefits.

At what age should I schedule an appointment for an orthodontic screening?
American Association of Orthodontists recommend you should schedule your child’s first appointment by age 7. Orthodontic treatment and a child’s growth can complement each other. By timing orthodontic treatment to predictable stages of dental development, the orthodontist may be able to take advantage of your child’s growth and development. Some problems that can be treated quite well in a growing child may require corrective surgery or permanent teeth to be extracted if treated after growth has occurred.

What will I learn from the initial examination?

- What treatment is needed to correct the problem? Can braces and/or Invisalign correct the problem?
- Will any teeth need to be removed?
- How long will treatment take?
- How much will treatment cost?
How much will orthodontic treatment cost?
We can only determine treatment costs after your initial consultation is completed, as each patient’s case is unique. Do I need a referral from my dentist to see an orthodontist?
If you think you or your child needs braces, you may be surprised to learn you do not need a referral from your dentist. You can make an appointment with Post Falls Orthodontics any time to discuss your orthodontic needs and set up a treatment plan.
It is also important to note that if your dentist does make a referral, you do not need to choose that orthodontist. You’re free to see anyone you feel can do the best job for you.
This doesn’t mean your dentist is not an important part of your care. He or she definitely is. It is important to continue to see your dentist throughout your orthodontic care.
With or without a referral, you should bring your child for an orthodontic consultation by age 7, as the American Association of Orthodontists recommends. Examining young children before all the permanent teeth have erupted may enable an orthodontist to correct problems that would be more difficult and costly to address later.
